| | Lou and I went to the Chicago Marathon today. We are discussing running it next year. I haven't committed yet. There would definitely be some major training involved considering my running career peaked at the fun run of 1994 when I won fastest 6th grade girl at First Pres. MAJOR training - I enjoy coming home from work and immediately putting on my pajamas for a night of TV on the couch. Maybe the only way for that cycle to end is to commit to it - I haven't been on a treadmill since I walked 40 miles for breast cancer 4 months ago.
I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving too much. I'm ready for a break in the monotony that is our weekly routine. The only thing new in our lives is an xbox 360 - and my unknown talent as the masked girl on Dead or Alive 4. I beat Lou 21 times Thursday night and now he doesn't enjoy me joining in on his gaming sessions. I no longer fall asleep to the burning glare of his lamp as he works, now it's the click click click of his wireless controller.
sunday night blues strikes again, but the flavor of love reunion show might help that.
